Corbrook Awakening Abilities

As a community-based service organization, Corbrook has been making an important contribution to the lives of people with disabilities. Their unique range of skill-building opportunities enable people to become more independent, promote self-esteem, find their employment path, and enhance their quality of life. Corbrook supports people who are fiscally funded through the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services (MCCSS) or people who purchase services from the organization. They offer employment programs, pre-employment training, respite and academic support. In addition, they offer a Personal Development Plan, which is a written tool that describes an individual’s desired personal outcomes and how these outcomes will be achieved through the involvement of a variety of people, services and supports.
