Sudbury Women's Centre

The Sudbury Women’s Centre (SWC) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing information, referral, and support services to women who have been impacted by violence and/or difficult life circumstances. The Centre offers key tools and resources that assist women in addressing issues of systematic discrimination and violence. The Sudbury Women’s Centre offers a wide variety of free programs designed to assist women in their community. They offer Self Compassion Workshops, Violence Prevention Workshops, and Safety Plan Workshops. Their program called 'A New Beginning' teaches women how to re-enter the workforce, important pre-employment preparation, how to write a resume and cover letter, and helps in the preparation for a successful interview.
