The South Asian Women’s Community Centre is gives support to South Asian women and their families facing struggle and discrimination on the basis of physical and mental ability, religion, colour, nationality, age, sexual orientation and identity, caste, and class. They offer Language Classes (both in English and French) and Settlement Programs, which provide support to new immigrants and refugees trying to navigate Quebec society. Such support includes job search, education, forms/documents, housing and referrals. The organization organizes regular workshops and informal counselling services. They provide extensive youth programming to the community by offering high school programs for young girls and non-binary youth in multiple schools across Montreal. The program offers weekly educational workshops in at least one school per week, touching on topics like mental health, sexual health and sexual assault, gender-based violence, racism and prejudice, and representation of women/LGBTQ in
