About
AGE-WELL is Canada's technology and aging network bringing together researchers, older adults, caregivers, partner organizations and future leaders to accelerate the delivery of technology-based solutions that make a meaningful difference globally. AGE-WELL's research is organized into eight research themes or Work packages (WPs) which are: Needs of Older Adults (WP1), Needs of Caregivers (WP2), Technology for Supporting Functional Autonomy and Independence (WP3), Technology for Active Participation in Society (WP4), Technology for Prevention and Reduction of Disease and Disability (WP5), Technology for Maintaining Good Mental and Cognitive Health (WP6), Health Systems, Practice, Policy and Regulatory Issues (WP7), and Ethical, Cultural and Social Aspects of Technology (WP8). AGE-WELL’s EPIC (Early Professionals, Inspired Careers) Program supports and fosters this innovative energy by providing students, postdoctoral fellows, early career researchers and research professionals with access to exclusive educational programming, experiential opportunities, funding, and mentorship.
