Squamish Immigrant Settlement Services and Welcome Centre

Located in downtown Squamish, the Hotspot & Welcome Centre are operated by the Squamish Volunteer Centre Society (SVC). In the Hotspot (our community storefront) you’ll find a full service computer lab, used computer store and community bookstore, and there is much more happening behind the scenes! The Hotspot is also home to the Squamish Welcome Centre which facilitates many local programs and services for everyone. The Welcome Centre’s mission is to aid newcomers to Canada who are adjusting to a new life in Squamish. They also house an Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) funded settlement office which offers a variety of services to immigrants.
