Carrefour De Ressources En Interculturel (CRIC)

Le Carrefour de ressources en interculturel (CRIC) est un organisme communautaire qui rassemble et développe des ressources dans le domaine interculturel, avec et pour les organismes et résident(e)s du quartier Centre-Sud, afin de favoriser le rapprochement interculturel entre les personnes de toutes origines. Le projet Réseau Métropolitain des Femmes-relais du CRIC vise l’insertion socioprofessionnelle de femmes majoritairement immigrantes. Chaque année, une douzaine de participantes de toutes origines et parlant une grande variété de langues sont recrutées afin de former la nouvelle cohorte de Femmes-relais interculturelles. Elles suivent un rigoureux programme de formation et de stage en vue d’être outillées pour accompagner des familles immigrantes dans leur langue maternelle. En partenariat avec le Centre de ressources éducatives et pédagogiques (CREP) du Centre de services scolaire de Montréal, ce volet permet d’offrir aux participantes des formations en lien avec l’employabilité et des rencontres de soutien individualisé. Les Femmes-relais sont soutenues dans l’élaboration d’un plan d’action pour un retour aux études, au travail ou tout autre projet d’entrepreneuriat ou de bénévolat. This flagship CRIC project aims at the socio-professional integration of predominantly immigrant women. They follow a rigorous training program in French. Relay Women, equipped with a good understanding of the functioning of the host society and the realities linked to immigration, can thus contribute to the sharing of Quebec cultural codes, while supporting other immigrants in their migratory processes. by directing them to the resources corresponding to their needs.In partnership with the Educational and Pedagogical Resource Center (CREP) of the Montreal School Services Center, this component makes it possible to offer participants training related to employability and individualized support meetings. Relay Women are supported in developing an action plan for a return to studies, work or any other entrepreneurship or volunteering project.
