University of Toronto Entrepreneurship (UTE) is Canada’s leading engine for research-based startups and a global leader in transforming ideas into products and services that impact the world. The UTE ecosystem provides mentorship, expertise, resources, and strategic connections to give entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey the tools they need to effectively start, build and scale their businesses. Their Intellectual Property (IP) Education Program is an accessible free, online training program designed to equip students, faculty and staff with a broad foundation in intellectual property. UTE has a network of 10+ accelerators and they offer a broad range of resources, network access and entrepreneurship activities. Additionally, they provide: ONRamp - a central hub with a co-working space, a startup job board, funding for startups, events, startup perks, and an Indo-Canadian Entrepreneurship Exchange with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and the Black Founders Network.
