Hands offers a variety of services to support children, youth, adults with a developmental disability, and their families. Some of the services they offer include one-on-one counselling, group clinics or seminars, justice supports, and links to other services in the community. For children, Autism services provide support to children, youth, and their caregivers, help children and youth who may be struggling with mental health concerns, support infant, child, and maternal health, and help identify support needs early in life and have a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of youth and adults in conflict with the law. For adults, Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) is the single point of access for all Ministry funded adult services. DSO helps adults with developmental disabilities connect to services and supports in their communities. They also provide caregiver and mediator training for caregivers and family members.
