SACHA Sexual Assault Centre

SACHA is a fem­i­nist, non-prof­it, com­mu­ni­ty-based orga­ni­za­tion that pro­vides sup­ports to peo­ple who have expe­ri­enced sex­u­al­ized vio­lence at any point in their lives. It works to end vio­lence and oppres­sion through edu­ca­tion, advo­ca­cy, out­reach, coali­tion build­ing, com­mu­ni­ty part­ner­ships, and activism. They offer specific needs programs for women from diverse back­grounds and expe­ri­ences, includ­ing queer and trans, youth and elders, new­com­ers and refugees; and ensure com­mu­ni­ty ser­vices meet the diverse needs of queer, trans, and cis women who are Black, Indige­nous, women of colour, includ­ing new­com­ers and refugees.
