Community Visions & Networking (Quinte)
About
CVN Quinte supports over 80 adults who have a developmental disability. Services are provided either by obtaining an existing service contract through the Ministry of Children, Community & Social Services. Services facilitate, teach, counsel, inform, provide advice, act as a resource, coach, as well as provide direct support. These supports may include but are not limited to assistance with education, employment, housing arrangements, support to visit family, health & safety, nutrition, banking, shopping, personal care, medications, home maintenance, and recreational activities. “Passport” services are a contract between the Ministry and an individual that is supported by CVN Quinte, which provides funding for services, supports and continuing education as the transition is made from childhood to adulthood.
