The Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) is a registered Canadian charity and community-based organization. It supports all woman: cis or trans, immigrant, Indigenous, queer, differently abled, woman of colour, survivors of war and torture. Its purpose is to provide survivor-directed support services by woman, to woman who have experienced sexual violence. It strives to increase public awareness and offer training on the issues and effects of violence against woman. It also engages in action to pressure for change in the structures and systems that contribute to the practice, maintenance, and tolerance of violence, oppression, discrimination and exploitation.
