Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan Regina

Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan is a local non-profit helping families in low-income housing build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. With the help of volunteers, donors, and community partners; they provide a solid foundation for better, healthier lives for families in Saskatchewan. Homes are not free at Habitat Saskatchewan families selected to partner with Habitat Saskatchewan will potentially become a homeowner and have access to affordable mortgages. These families are also responsible for completing 500 volunteer hours before their mortgage is signed, helping to build their own homes and other low-income housing projects. Volunteer hours involve learning construction skills and helping to build homes. Other volunteer opportunties include learning retail skills in the ReStore locations. Volunteering is also open all students and adults.
