MRC Marguerite d'Youville

The MRC de Marguerite-D'Youville includes the towns of Calixa-Lavallée, Contrecoeur, Saint-Amable, Sainte-Julie, Varennes and Verchères. The MRC has specific responsibilities following agreements between municipalities, including: management of government home renovation programs; the operation of a residual materials management system; the stationery purchasing group; the regional municipal court; the imposition of duties on quarry and sand pit operators; and the regional engineering and technical expertise service.
