Thinking in Pictures Educational Services (TIPES)

Thinking in Pictures Educational Services (TIPES) is a non-profit organization comprised of trained professionals with a passion for supporting individuals with autism and other learning needs. They offer opportunities for speech language pathologists and occupational therapists to practice in-centre during their learners’ therapy hours. Services are offered in English and French, based on availability. They also provide life skills training for all learners. TIPES offers individualized one-on-one tutoring to students from elementary to high school utilizing programs created by the National Institute for Direct Instruction. The TIPES platform also provide links where persons with disabilities or their parents could access funding. Their platform has a compilation of a list of agencies that support persons with disabilities.
