Women Transitioning to Trades and Employment (WTTE) is funded by the Province of Ontario (Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services – Women’s Issues) and is offered in partnership with Hilti Canada and the Labour Education Centre’s TradeLinx and George Brown College. WTTE is an innovative, integrated, and supportive training and employment preparation program for women and gender non-binary, trans, and 2-spirit peoples who are: Looking for stable employment, Interested in the skilled trades, specifically in the construction and construction-related (professional, administrative, and technical occupations) sector; and able to commit to a 12-week program.
