St. Francis Advocates
About
St. Francis Advocates for the Autistic & Developmentally Disabled (Sarnia) Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization providing supports and services to adults with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. Their services provide learning opportunities in both residential and vocational areas to assist people in reaching their potential and enhance their quality of life. Residentially, people learn self help skills that are essential for more independent living along with enjoying leisure and community activities. A 24 hour support plan is developed based upon what the person has identified in their Person Directed Plan (PDP). Through a continuous rotation of consistent personnel, assistance is provided in areas such as communication, life skills and social skills development, so goals can be more easily attained.
