ASTC Science World Society

Science World is a charitable non-profit and science centre based in Vancouver, BC that engages learners across the province in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & design and math). Participants in their outreach programs—students, teachers and families in every region of BC—access the experience of Science World through virtual visits from scientists, livestream science shows, and weekly afterschool STEAM mentorship. Science World offers a number of courses and camps that allow you to delve deeper into science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Some of their programs include Preschool Curiosity Club, Summer Camps, Future Science Leaders, Tech-Up, and Creative Robotics. Their Tech-Up facilitators provide students with the skills they need for STEM courses in higher education, and equip teachers to meaningfully incorporate coding and digital learning outcomes aligned with the provincial curriculum into their own classrooms. Tech-Up offers a variety of student-focused
