Oasis (Project Tremplin)

Oasis Center des Femmes' mission is to equip French-speaking women in Greater Toronto and Halton-Peel, affected by violence in all its forms, so that they can improve their situation and become completely independent. Since 2010, Oasis Women's Center has focused on the issue of economic vulnerability which, in itself, perpetuates or reinforces the violence suffered by women. Through a first entrepreneurial training project, we were able to support around a hundred French-speaking women in their process of launching businesses or self-employment. The “Tremplin” project is intended to be an innovative approach that combines the acquisition of skills in business plan development as well as opportunities for personal development.
