About
The Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) is a community non-profit supporting those living with the effects of acquired brain injury. Its members are children, young adults, parents, spouses, grandparents, professional and service providers. Membership is open to anyone. BIST's mission is to enhance the quality of life for people in the City of Toronto, living with the effects of acquired brain injury, through education, awareness, support and advocacy. BIST provides free and accessible services to persons with brain injuries and their families through support groups, peer support programming, wellness initiatives, workshops and case coordination services. BIST also offers student placements.
