Action for Healthy Communities (AHC)

AHC serves newcomers to Alberta and Canada, including immigrants, refugees, permanent residents from wide range of ethno-cultural groups and families. The organization works in a spirit of community development and partnership with numerous agencies and organizations in Alberta. The services provided are community capacity building, settlement services, adult literacy skills programs, workplace participation programs and entrepreneur support targeted for developing essential skills and training. The organization also has programs for children and youth regarding inclusion and healthy living.
