The public government for the Dehcho region is based on the Dene principles and traditions of its communities, protecting and promoting their treaty and rights. The Dehcho First Nations also focus on the protection of the land and maintaining economic development that balances regional and community interests through the provision of a range of training programs, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
