Columbia Basin Trust

The Columbia Basin Trust supports efforts by the people of the Basin to create a legacy of social, economic and environmental well-being and to achieve greater self-sufficiency. The foundation is funded by the British Columbia Provincial government Columbia Treaty. The funds focus on financial and infrastructure projects, grants and endowments, Columbia Basic development projects. Funded projects focus on employment and skills development for youth, educational resources for 2SLGBTQ+ communities, Indigenous programs and educational and skilling pathways for Indigenous youth, programs for immigrants and racialized residents, and programs that create projects so that people may gain skills and experience, which will lead to career pathways.
