Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre

The Can-Am Indian Friendship Centre is driven by the desire of Indigenous peoples within the areas of Windsor and Essex County to become a self-sufficient, self-determining, self-governing community. The Apatisiwin program's goals are to provide strength, promote self–reliance, enhance the unity of people, and improve opportunities for meaningful employment through self-determined activities and building employment and training capacity. The Centre also offers literacy programs and funding intervention initiatives.
