Idea Connector Network (ICN)

ICN mission is to Inspire entrepreneurial Indigenous people with the help of experienced entrepreneurs and subject experts. ICN is a social enterprise and a third party independent organization. They do not and have never received core funding from government. Developing the Indigenous Entrepreneurship online community has been a labour of love made possible through project funding by government, corporate sponsors, and in large part, thanks to the contribution of thousands of volunteer hours. ICN collaborates with subject experts, using multiple media platforms, to explore the challenges facing Aboriginal people and their communities, while bridging the gap between corporate or government industries that seek inclusion in their workforces. ICN offers the National Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs Ecosystem [NIWEE] program. This program is a destination program aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous women in business and in supporting those interested in launching their business and to increase Indigenous women capabilities to access leadership positions.
