Toronto Community Benefits Network

Toronto Community Benefits Network (TCBN) is a community-labour coalition and nonprofit organization that works to ensure large infrastructure and development projects deliver equitable economic opportunities and community benefits for residents of Toronto. It promotes the negotiation and implementation of Community Benefits Agreements (CBAs) that secure commitments on hiring, training, apprenticeships, social procurement, and local economic participation for equity-seeking and historically disadvantaged groups. TCBN brings together over 120 community groups, labour partners, workforce development agencies, and other stakeholders to advocate for inclusion, build systems of workforce development, and support accountability in major public and private developments. Its vision is an inclusive, thriving city where all residents can access meaningful economic opportunities arising from infrastructure investment and community growth.
