The Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC), the industry’s human resource council, acts as a federation of its current five industry and Indigenous advocacy associations. Trade Up Manitoba is a one-stop website for information on Manitoba’s construction industry. Offering in-depth looks at both apprentice-able trades, and non-apprentice-able careers within the province. They offer a platform that publicizes the High School Apprenticeship Program, which allows students to start apprenticeship while you are still in high school. It links regular Senior Years school instruction with paid, part-time, on-the-job apprenticeship training. Other programs publicized by MCSC are (1.) Post-secondary institutions in Manitoba, where graduates can receive certificates, diplomas, or degrees (undergraduate, graduate, pre-professional and professional) in a variety of programs, and (2.)
