Saint Mary's University is home to an engaged community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni from more than 90 countries around the world that share a passion for learning and a commitment to contributing to the global community. Saint Mary's has grown to include undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Arts, Business, Science, and Environmental Studies as well as numerous professional and executive development programs. They offer a learning environment that allows students to reach their full potential. They are committed to accessibility, diversity and the provision of a positive and supportive learning environment through the effective integration of teaching and research. Furthermore, they provide housing, employment training, co-op, health service, recreation and scholarships/bursaries. Their International Student Centre is designed to help students adapt to university life, settling in, student visas, work permits and tax preparation. Also, through the Fred Smithers Centre for Student Accessibility, new students are paired with Peer Success Coaches to support during their first year.
