Small Housing BC Society

Small Housing BC Society is a non-profit focused on promoting "gentle density"—adding smaller, ground-oriented homes like laneway houses, duplexes, and small apartments into existing single-family neighborhoods to create more diverse, affordable housing options without drastic neighborhood change. They work with local governments, builders, and communities to update policies, share smart designs, and support homeowner-led projects, making it easier and more feasible to build these attainable homes to address BC's housing crisis.
