Southern Chiefs Organization Inc. (SCO)

Southern Chiefs' Organization represents 34 southern First Nation communities in Manitoba. SCO provides programming involving children and family, environement, health, justice and violence prevention. SCO assists members First Nations in the advancement and achievement of their goals as mandated by the Chiefs meeting in Summit, provides a common front for initiatives, promotes and assist member First Nations in providing good government for their First Nations, and assists member First Nations in promoting and defending Treaty and Aboriginal rights.
